Brummelhuis Grabs The Lead
Long time Dutch poker professional Michael Brummelhuis just won a few big pots in a row and he’s now sitting on a massive 130,000-chip stack. The flop read :::9d :::Qh :::Jd and Brummelhuis bet 4,000 after which his opponent moved all in for around 20,000. Brummelhuis called immediately and the showdown went as following.
Brummelhuis: :::Kd :::Tc
Opponent: :::Ac :::Qd
The board ran out :::Ts, :::2h and Brummelhuis jumped to 85,000. Shortly after this hand the Dutchman busted another players when he flopped a set of nines against an unknown hand. At this point he’s on 130,000 and that’s a clear tournament chip lead.
