Aces for Glimne

Photographer working on first batch of player photos now! Until they are ready, here are more chips.

At the cry of, “All in and call,” I scuttled across the floor to witness Dan Glimne all in against a player whose identity as yet remains a mystery (player list is on its way, apparently). What hand could possibly induce Glimne to risk his tournament life in Level 2?

Glimne: :::As :::Ac – obv, as they say
Gentleman Opponent: :::Ah :::Ad

There was no funny business on the board, and they duly chopped it up. Play was paused for a few moments while both players photographed the cards as they lay on the felt for some private purposes.

In other news, Irish Open champion James Mitchell has now joined Glimne’s table. Over on the next table, Unibet Open Cannes winner Quentin Lecomte has also now taken his seat.
