It’s been a bit of a roller coaster for Funda La Iacona, nursing a short stack for much of the day before coming from behind to almost triple up to an above average stack just after the dinner break. This roller coaster has just gone off the rails, though, and the rail is in fact where Ms. La Iacona now resides, owing to this beauty of a hand:
The board read :::Jh :::9h :::8h :::Kd :::9c when La Iacona went all in on the river; Eduard Winterwerp, newly arrived at the table and using a large glass of red wine as a card protector, took about a microsecond to make the call.

Winterwerp: :::Th :::7h for a flopped straight flush
You have to laugh, really, and that’s exactly what La Iacona did as she headed for the door.
“Welcome to the table,” said Winterwerp’s new tablemate Ian Simpson.
“Thank you,” said Winterwerp cheerfully, “I love this table.”
He’s at around 45,000 now.
