Krzysztof Stuchlik just raised to 40,000 and Dmitry Varlamov called from the small blind. Pierre Almeida called from the big blind and the flop brought out :::Jc :::Js :::5d. All three players checked after which Varlamov bet 60,000 on the :::2h turn and only Almeida called.
On the river the :::2d hit and this time Varlamov checked to Almeida who bet 80,000. Varlamov tanked for a bit but eventually he called. Almeida surrendered by throwing his cards face down towards the muck and Varlamov was ready to take the pot without showdown. Almeida then proceeded the retrieve his cards and table :::6d :::4c. Varlamov picked his cards back up and showed :::8s :::8d in order to claim the pot.
Almeida is now down to around 600,000 chips while Varlamov is sitting on around 1.2 million.
