Blom Stack Blooms Again

Michel Blom has doubled up to a still half-the-average 42,000. He was holding :::7d :::7c and his opponent (I didn’t see the chips go in, but by his frown at the end of the hand I am guessing that it was Rytis Kriunas) was holding :::Ad :::Ac – not looking good for Blom. But the board ran out :::3d :::6s :::7h :::6h :::2c to save his tournament skin, and leaving Kriunas with 55,000.
