Bubble Finally Bursts
We had been bubbling for a very long time.
Gaëtan Ancobard had come back from the very brink more than once, but this time there would be no help from the poker gods. He was already all in on the big blind – he couldn’t even muster half of it, just 4,000 – and Michal Kadziela limped in. Folds all round apart from him, and they were on their backs.
Kadziela: :::4d :::5d
Ancobard: :::7c :::2s and, hilariously, ahead
Board: :::8d :::4s :::5h :::Kc :::8c making Kadziela two pair
Poor old Ancobard. He really looked like he might cry. Magnus Lundin on the feature table only had 1,000 left as well, meaning that he’d be all in on the ante next hand. Still, to raucous applause, Ancobard was gone, and WE ARE IN THE MONEY!!!
