Callens More Than Doubles

Yves Keppens limped in from early position and Ann-Roos Callens raised to 22,000 from the hijack. Kris Leppens and Pritchathorn Gosselin called in the blinds.

The flop came 3♠5♥T♥ and they all checked except Callens who decided to shove. Leppens asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Callens had shoved for 105,000 in total. Leppens contemplated for a while and then called. Gosselin and Keppens folded immediately.

Leppens had pocket eights while Callens was hoping for a queen or jack.

The rest of the board was completed with the A♣ on the turn and the J♠ on the river for Callens to hit a higher pair to get paid by Leppens. Callens now has 306,000 and Leppens was left with 245,000.
