It wasn’t clear who had made the opening raise, but when I arrived Anibal Figueiredo appeared to have made some sort of reraise from the big blind. In mid position, Luis Cardoso made what could have been a four-bet; either way, it was to 5,700. By now all the other players had got out of their way, and when the action returned to Figueiredo he went all in to cover Cardoso. Cardoso made the call, and he was soon raking in the roughly 30k pot. Figueiredo made a face that said, “S*** happens,” or something to that effect – he is down to 17,000.
