Carvalho Collapses

Isabel Carvalho bet out 6,000 from the small blind on the turn of a :::4c :::Th :::5h :::8c board and after a little Mikael Johansson shoved for 14,300 total from the cutoff. Carvalho tanked up for a long time – long enough for me to go and watch a whole hand play out on another table – but eventually she made the call. She probably regretted her decision soon after.

Johansson doubled to a respectable 38,000. Carvalho was left with a definitely not respectable 3,500 or so, which went in a hand or two later against Futsal star Miguel Almeida.
