Chutrov Busts Lindmark; Climbs to 1.1M
Daniel Chutrov is the first player to break through the 1 million chip barrier after claiming the stack of Sweden’s Dennis Lindmark.
Lindmark had shoved a couple of times and not been called, but he soon would be. Chutrov raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Lindmark three-bet all-in from the cutoff. Chutrov asked for a count and the figure to call was 336,00.
"OK, I call," said Chutrov who then turned over :::Qh:::Qs much to the disappointment of Lindmark who flipped the :::Jc:::Jh onto their backs.
The :::2s:::td:::kh flop kept Chutrov’s queens ahead, with the :::3h on the turn being a relative blank. The :::3s was the river card, busting Lindmark and sending Chutrov’s stack soaring.
