David Hefner Eliminated in 4th Place (€27,700)
Florian Ferroni opened to 120,000 from the button with the :::Jh:::7h and Karl Stark three-bet to 330,000 from one seat over in the small blind. The action then reached David Hefner and he gave it some thought before moving his 1.36 million chips into the middle of the table.
Ferroni mucked and Stark asked with a rather shy : "How much is it?" After around one minute he announced the call and both players turned over their cards:
Stark: :::As:::9c
Hefner: :::Ad:::4d
The board :::Ks:::Ah:::2s:::9s{10s} was symbolic for the incredible run-good of the Swede, who busted yet another opponent and moved up to more than 9 million chips – there are just 12,330,000 chips in play.
Karl Stark | 9,100,000 | 2,065,000 |
David Hefner | 0 | -1,245,000 |
