Djemai Doubles to Take the Lead
Kamel Djemai raised from under the gun before Dennis Kleinleugemors, and Bart Van Dijk called from the blinds.
The flop fell 9♥5♣5♠ and Kleinleugemors bet 280,000. Van Dijk folded before Djemai called and the 2♣ hit the turn.
Kleinleugemors bet 575,000 and Djemai called after 30 seconds of thought.
The K♣ hit on the river, and Kleinleugemors moved all in for 3,000,000.
Djemai had 1,900,000 behind and contemplated his decision for a minute before he called.
Kleinleugemors opened up A♦J♥, and Djemai saw he made the correct call with Q♣Q♥.
Kleinleugemors was reduced to 1,000,000 and Djemai, who himself started the day with a 1,000,000 chip stack, rose to 6,000,000 and took the chip lead.
