Mateusz Moolhuizen is having a pretty bad time of it at the moment, and is down to little more than 500,000.
First, he managed to bump up the stack of Zbigniew Wieczorek. Moolhuizen raised preflop for the second hand in a row (the first time everyone folded) and Wieczorek made the call to see an :::8h :::3d :::6s flop. The young Pole checked to Moolhuizen who continuation-bet 27,000, and after a little pause, he called.
The turn was the :::As and Wieczorek checked again. Moolhuizen bet 44,000 and Wieczorek disappeared into the tank again. This time when he emerged, he announced all in for 205,000. Moolhuizen did nothing for a while, but he never looked as though he was really seriously considering it. He folded, leaving himself on around 600,000, while Wieczorek’s stack increased to 370,000.
A few hands later and Moolhuizen was on the button, flat-calling Krzysztof Stuchlik’s 24,000 pre flop raise. Stuchlik proceeded to check the :::Ad :::Ah :::Jd flop so Moolhuizen put in a bet of 28,000, but Stuchlik now check-raised to 66,000. Moolhuizen called, but the 98,000 that Stuchlik bet out on the :::2s turn proved too much. The Unibet Open Malta champ folded, and is now down to around 500,000. Stuchlik is up to perhaps 800,000.
