Garnier Is Gone
Philippe Garnier’s tournament has come to an abrupt end after a clash with Zigmas Pekarskas didn’t exactly go to plan.
Garnier was down to around 10 big blinds and shoved all-in from the button with the :::7s:::5s. The raise folded out the small blind, but Pekarskas called in the big blind with :::Ad:::9d. A nine on the :::9s:::th:::qd flop improved Pekarskas to a pair, and when the turn and rive came the :::6h and :::Kh it was game over for Garnier.
