Gessel Doubles Through Karbowski

Dylan Gessel had been reduced to around 65,000 by the dinner break from his earlier high of 200,000 or so. He wasted no time at all getting it in the middle after the dinner break and found a caller in Michal Karbowski in the small blind. Despite having a non-premium hand, Gessel was very live, and duly he managed to hit first a pair and then a four-flush to double up to a little under 120,000. Don’t feel too sorry for Karbowski though – on 430,000 after that, he is still basically tying for the chip lead.
