Gessel Gets All The Ladies

Dylan Gessel just raised from the cutoff to 12,000 after which Stephane Gard moved all in from the button for 74,000 total. The player in the big blind, chip leader Michal Karbowski, thought it was worth a short and he went all in as well. Gessel did not waste any time and he decided to make the call. He had 47,000 chips more than Gard, but both he and Karbowski were looking for serious help.

Gard: :::Kd :::Kc
Gessel: :::Qc :::Qd
Karbowski: :::7d :::7h

The board ran out :::3c :::2d :::5d :::Qs :::Qh breaking Gard’s heart and making Gessel the happiest man in the room. The Dutchman is now up to 322,000 while Karbowski still has 330,000 left.
