Damir Kranjcevic had opened to 400 under the gun by the time I got there, and Pasi Mattila had reraised to 800 in mid position. It folded to Ramin Hajiyev in the small blind, who cold-four-bet to 3,000. Curious.

In the big blind, Michal Sobanski thought about it for a long, long time – and then five-bet to 5,700. Kranjcevic and Mattila quickly folded, and after only a short pause Hajiyev folded pocket jacks face up.
