Chen Wenbin raised to 20,000 and Daniel Chutrov, who was seated to his immediate left, called. One player folded and Zoltan Boszormenyi squeezed all-in for 134,000. Wenbin reshoved and Chutrov went deep into the tank and looked set to call before folding; he later claimed to have held :::9x:::9x.

Wenbin’s :::Jc:::Js was flipping against the :::Ac:::Qc of Boszormenyi. The :::7c:::Jh:::2d flop was good for those jacks, but Wenbin still said:

"Hold the backdoor!"

The dealer put the :::3c onto the turn amidst groans from the table as he hadn’t held the backdoor" because Boszormenyi could now hit a flush. The river was black but the wrong suit, the :::Ts leaving Wenbin’s hand as best and sending Boszormenyi for an early lunch.
