Hope for Betou

Magdalena in de Betou moved all in for not much more than 15,000. She stood up, put her coat on, slung her bag over her shoulder, and overall showed every sign of wanting to leave. Apparently this was the third time she’d gone all in in around 15 minutes, and she’d gone through the whole fool-the-poker-gods-by-pretending-already-to-be-out routine.

And what do you know – it worked!

Jarkko Mammela called with :::As :::9c, and in de Betou could only boast :::7d :::8d. But lo and behold, the board ran out :::7c :::5d :::2c :::Kd :::Td to double her up to a still shaky 35,000, but still enough to make a go of it come Day 2.
