Inizan Out Soon?

French poker powerhouse Marc Inizan, possessor of a million dollars in tournament cashes and, we suspect, rather more in cash game winnings, is back down to his starting stack after betting 7,000 into an already chunky pot on the turn of a :::9d :::Ks :::9h :::6c board. His sole opponent Oliver Lucas made the call, and they saw the river.

Both players checked the :::Ts river and Lucas had to reveal his hand first. He actually looked rather reluctant to show, but show he did – :::Qh :::9c for trips. It was enough, as it turned out – Inizan mucked and is down to not much more than 30k – not so hot a stack with the blinds at 600/1,200/200. Oliver meanwhile is up to just shy of 200k.
