One of the most well traveled poker pros also managed to find his way to Troia. Casey Kastle is internationally known as one of the players who’s most likely to show up at events in the far corners of the earth, but he also has some love for Portugal so it seems.
Kastle is American born but lives in Slovenia, the country which he always proudly represents wearing shirts of the national football team. So far in 2013 Kastle has already notched up live tournament cashes in France, South-Korea, Cyprus, Germany and Monte Carlo, but he’s still missing a Portugese flag.
In total Casey Kastle has the most international cashes of any poker player in the world. Kastle cashed in 30 different countries over the course of his poker career including Cambodia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Marocco and the Ukraine. Kastle has more than $1.7 million in career tournament earnings and in the “Most Countries Cashed,” ranking he’s ahead of big stars like Marcel Luske (22), Dominik Nitsche (21), Barny Boatman (19) and our own Dan Murariu (18).
