Kozub Tripped Up by Rousso
It looked as though Tomasz Kozub had raised preflop and Alex Rousso had called out of the big blind before both players checked the flop. Either way, I caught up with it on the turn of the :::Tc :::6d :::4h :::3c board. Alex Rousso had bet out 8,000, but Kozub had made it 18,000 to go. After a few moments’ intense staring at his opponent, Rousso called.
The river was the :::4c and Rousso now checked. Kozub bet 27,000, and Rousso called – something that Kozub had presumably not been expecting as he turned over a nothing-y :::Ah :::9h with a look of frustration on his face, dropping to 125,000 in the process. Rousso revealed :::4d :::7d for a flopped pair and rivered trips, and is up to 140,000.
