Karel Kratochvil checked the :::4h :::5s :::8d flop from the big blind to Michiel Brummelhuis in the hijack. Brummelhuis bet around 7,500 but it was not enough to deter Kratochvil – he made the call and they continued to the turn.
Kratochvil checked again on the :::7s turn and this time Brummelhuis checked behind. They were soon looking at the :::Tc on the river and Kratochvil looked at it with an expression that seemed to say, “Not bad. Worth a shot,” although obviously he didn’t actually say that. Instead he bet out 9,000. Brummelhuis stared at the bet for a little while before finally folding, sending the much-needed pot Kratochvil’s way and upping his stack to 50,000 – still well below average. There remains absolutely no need to worry about Brummelhuis – he’s still the daddy on 265,000 at this time.
