Kula Leaves Piedade Out in the Cold
I’m not sure whether Jordan Piedade bet out or merely checked on the :::Kd :::6d :::8h flop, but whichever way, Tomasz Kula had soon bet/raised to 6,500 and Piedade had gone all in for an additional 18,000 or so. Kula tanked for a little while, and eventually he made the call.
Piedade: :::Kc :::Qh for top pair
Kula: :::9d :::7d for a variety of flush and straight draws
Turn: :::Th, bringing in the straight and leaving Piedade drawing dead
River: a purely academic :::8s
Kula is now at around 60,000. He looked immensely relieved.
