Lavrov and Niski Bust on Table Five
Maksym Lavrov shoved a short stack with pocket nines and was called by Micael Emanuelson with pocket tens in the small blind to have the Swede claim yet another scalp over on table five. Then, Hans Sybrandi won a flip with :::Ac:::Kc against the pocket jacks of Mariusz Niski and shortly after Niski was at risk for 10 big blinds out of the big blind.
Rolf Slotboom had put him at risk and Niski went into the showdown with :::Qs:::Jh. Slotboom’s :::Ad:::As locked up the hand on the turn of a board :::Kc:::6h:::8d:::5s{10s} and that was it for Niski as well.
