It is now certain that there will be a new Unibet Open champion.
David Hefner had raised and was called by Anders Claren in the big blind. On the :::6c{10c}:::8d flop, Claren check-raised all in after Hefner had made a continuation bet worth 23,000 and was snap-called.
Hefner: :::9s{10s}
Claren: :::7c{10h}
Both had hit top pair with a gutshot and the :::7d turn completed the straight for Hefner while his fellow countryman now needed a ten or seven to stay in the tournament. It was the :::4h river that ended his run in 41st place though and another seat open occurred at the very same time only a few meters away.
Quentin Lecomte open-shoved from the button for what looked like 140,000 over on table 2 and Jussi Heikels from one seat over moved all in himself for slightly more chips. The player in the big blind got out of the way and they tabled their cards:
Heikels: :::Ad:::Kc
Lecomte: :::7d:::7h
The Finn improved on the river of a :::5s:::Qs{10d}:::9c:::Ks board and that was also the last action of level 16.

Jussi Heikels | 330,000 | 160,000 |
