Lecomte Loses 50k Flip, Still Leads

It’s a measure of how well Quentin Lecomte is doing that he just lost a pot worth more than the average chip stack and is still the chip leader. He had opened to 2,000 preflop before Jussi Nevanlinna reraised to 5,500 with about 19,000 behind but then Wilfried Verissimo flat-called from the small blind, Lecomte then four-bet to 16,000, Nevanlinna was all in and Verissimo folded, the chip leader making a quick automatic call.

Lecomte: :::Qc:::Qh
Nevanlinna: :::As:::Kc

The board ran out :::2c:::6h:::Ah:::5d:::6s and Nevanlinna doubled up to about 50,000, Lecomte has 170,000 remaining, it’s still enough for the chip lead at this point.
