McLean Sweep

I found Day 1b chip leader Stephen McLean betting out 30k on a :::5h :::3h :::Kc flop; the gentleman to his left on the button, who seems to have lost his player ID card, flat-called.

McLean checked the :::4d turn before calling a 25k bet from his nameless opponent; McLean checked again on the :::Tc river and this time the bet from Nameless Opponent was 45k. McLean tanked up for some time, eyeing up his neighbour suspiciously, before making the call.

It was a good call, as it turned out – N. O. turned over :::Ad :::8d for a complete bluff, while McLean’s :::Ah :::Kh flush-draw-turned-top-pair was good to take the hefty pot. McLean, who’d dropped a little since this morning, is now back in the upper echelons of the chip counts on 430,000.
