Like the t-shirts they make the guys who work at McDonalds wear, the “lovin” in Gary “McLovin” Clarke is now ironic – he’s been crippled down to just 8,500 after losing a coinflip with pocket sevens against A-J. To make things worse, he has resoundingly lost the wager he made with his tablemates on Day 1a over final numbers in this tournament. Although for some reason, they agreed that winner of the wager would buy a round of drinks, so arguably he has actually won that one.
