Yesterday we reported how Dan Murariu was down to just 4,300 at the 400/800/100 level. The Romanian Golden Sands winner is now sitting with around 100,000 or so after coming out on top against Henrik Hecklen.
Hecklen had limped preflop in the small blind and Murariu bumped it up from 2,400 to 7,400 which the Dane duly called to see a flop of :::6s:::6c:::4c. Both players checked to see the :::Kd turn where Hecklen led out for 6,600 and Murariu made the call. The :::Ac came on the river and Hecklen checked as Murariu made a bet of 14,200 this time, Hecklen then check-raised to 29,200 which Murariu briefly tanked over but eventually made a crying call.
Hecklen sighed, showing :::4s:::3s having turned his hand into a bluff and Murariu won the pot with :::Ad:::Qs.
