Neuville Rises

Emmanuel Van der Haegen raised to 5,100 from under the gun and received three callers before the flop fell a♦7♠2♠.

Van der Haegen bet 5,000 and Pierre Neuville called from the small blind after two other opponents had folded. The 3♣ hit the turn, and Neuville check-called a 10,100 bet from Van der Haegen.

After the 6♠ appeared on the river, Neuville took over the betting lead and placed 24,000 into the middle. Van der Haegen paused for a minute and mulled over his decision before a final glimpse at his cards led him to fold.

Neuville picked up the pot and moved up to 150,000 on his third and final Unibet Belgian Championship Main Event bullet.
