Welcome to the new Unibet Open site! The first of the 2010 Unibet Open tour’s tournaments kicks off the season in Budapest from the 4th-7th March. The buzz created by last year’s tour was phenomenal, and the Unibet Open’s dedicated website has been revamped to bring the play, players and poker news in even more detail and colour. You won’t need to fly round Europe to get a feel for the action, as the dedicated team of bloggers, photographers, video experts, twitterers and the poker rail around the world will be bringing it all day every day, as it happens.
More photos, more videos, more instant access to the action, plus the live feed of the feature table bringing real-time poker from the felt across the net – the new-look site allows for the most comprehensive coverage of any live events on the continent. Plus, have your say in the Shoutbox: post requests and follow your friends and the pros as they compete for places on the new players’ Leaderboards.
The competition is guaranteed to be fierce, the prizepool chunky, the atmosphere as exciting as at last year’s events – visit Unibet Open Media to get a feel for the tour as it played out in 2009, and stay poised to click ‘play’ as the new events’ videos pop up throughout the four days’ play at each new event.
Speaking of new events, Golden Sands, Valencia and Paris are all new stops on the Unibet Open tour, which has brought hundreds of players to a host of up-and-coming destinations on the European circuit and continues to seek out the best venues for play, relaxation, and of course the legendary Welcome Parties. Qualification satellites run weekly, with feeders daily, so if you like what you see on the rail, and would like a bite of the six-figure prizepool, be there in person in Bulgaria in June…
