Following Zbigniew Wieczorek’s latest shove, the action really slowed down, with players basically taking it in turns to raise while everyone else folded, and not a flop in sight. The recent action has looked like so:
– Auke Attena raised from the button and everyone folded
– Wieczorek min-raised and everyone passed
– Mateusz Moolhuizen opened to 35,000 but no-one was interested
– Action! Michal Karbowski open-shoved from the button – but he just picked up the blinds and antes for his trouble
– Laurens De Smet got what I believe is the first walk of the final table
– Next hand, Wieczorek got the second walk
– Karbowski shoved again! But no-one wanted to call
– Now Laurens De Smet went all in! But again, no-one was interested
Not wildly exciting – but to be fair, the players are still pretty deep, and there’s a big difference between the €10,709 on offer for eighth place and the €80,187 for the winner…
