Not Good for Verbon

_DSC5471By the time I got there, there was a :::Qc :::9d :::6h :::Th board spread out on the felt and almost 5,000 in the pot. Tim Verbon, in the under-the-gun position, had bet 1,600. In the hijack, Alex Rousso was squinting at him and asking how much he had behind (answer: around 9,000). Rousso flatted, and they saw the river.

The river was the :::Ks, and Verbon checked. Rousso now bet 2,600, and Verbon cracked a wry smile before folding. Rousso is now above his starting stack for I believe the first time today – he’s at around 25,000 and looking extremely pleased with himself. Verbon meanwhile languishes on the aforementioned 9,000 or so.
