Potenza Takes Chip Lead

Christophe De Meulder raised to 250,000 from the button and Dominique Potenza three-bet to 500,000 in the small blind. De Meulder called.

The flop came 8♠J♠K♣, Potenza continued with a bet of 500,000 and De Meulder called.

The turn brought them the A♠ to complete the flush draw on the board and both players checked. The river completed the board with the 7♠. Potenza fired another 600,000 over the line and De Meulder tanked. After considering his options for a while, De Meulder folded so Potenza could take over the chip lead.
