Ramin Not Using His Noodle

Ramin Hajiyev, whom we remember from back when he went deep at EPT Vienna, opened in late position and got a call from Damir Kranjcevic in the big blind. Hajiyev bet all the way down the :::8c :::4c :::9d :::Qd :::9c board until the river, when he checked and seemed unwilling to turn over his cards. Kranjcevic turned over a meagre :::8h :::3s. “Come on,” he said cheerfully, “I know I’m good.”

Sure enough, Hajiyev folded. He’s still at a comfortable 25,000, though; Kranjcevic is also doing just fine on 22,000.
