Rasku Plays It Safe

I’m pretty sure that several of our finalists had quite large servings of caution for dinner, but Juha Rasku must have had seconds – and by the look of it, a nice big bowl of tight for dessert as well.

Here’s the action, or lack of it, from the last few hands:

– Rein Koov open-shoved for 276,000 (nine big blinds) with :::Ad :::Td. Robert Sevtsenko folded A-Q and Juha Rasku folded :::7s :::7d.

– Adam Magnusson moved in for 237,000 under the gun with :::Qs :::Js. Andrejs Perederejevs folded pocket fours, and Juha Rasko folded :::Ah :::Qc.

– Lauri Meidla raised to 60,000 with :::6s :::6c but folded to a push from Robert Sevtsenko holding :::Ad :::Ks. A hand or two later Meidla raised again, this time holding A-T. Juha Rasku was holding a dominating A-J, but once he again he simply folded.
