Stieven Razab-Sekh had just lost a small hand from the big blind the previous hand, when it folded around to him the small blind. He raised to 35,000. In the big blind, Ruggiero Scommegna reraised to 86,000. Razab-Sekh snap-called and they saw a flop.
Both players checked the :::3s :::7h :::5s flop and proceeded to the :::Ac turn. Razab-Sekh checked again and Scommegna bet 100,000 – and Razab-Sekh now check-raised all in to cover Scommegna. A few tense moments passed – and then Scommegna called all in for 387,000.
It was a good call – Razab-Sekh was drawing dead.
