Showdown Please?

The board read :::Ad :::Kd :::9s when Lois Barssom bet 7,000 from middle position and Jeffrey Bolton called from the hijack. On the turn the :::Th popped up and Barssom proceeded to move all his chips across the line. Barssom’s shove was for 22,500 and Bolton tanked for about 30 seconds before making the call.

“Showdown please,” the dealer announced after all the chips were moved into the middle.

“Showdown,” he added, to no avail. Neither of the players turned their cards over and the dealer tried again.

“Showdown!” and finally both Barssom and Bolton turned their cards face up.

Barssom: :::Ah :::Jd
Bolton: :::9c :::9h

The river brought the :::6h and Barssom was knocked out. Bolton is up to around 110,000 and among the bigger stacks here on Day 2.
