One of the most frequent Unibet Open players, Nicolas Storm, has just been knocked out. Storm played a huge pot against Dutchman Rick Jansen and that marked the beginning of the end of his tournament.
Jansen raised under the gun to kick things off and both players in the blinds called, Marco de Jong in de small and Storm in the big.
The flop brought out :::5c:::8h:::6h and Storm lead out for 14,000, only to get raised by Jansen to 30,000. De Jong folded right away and Storm made the call.
On the turn the :::8d hit and this time Storm check-called 35,000. The river brought the :::Qc and now Storm committed another 40,000 after his opponent had bet. Jansen quickly showed :::5s:::5h and his flopped set took down the pot boosting his stack up to 280,000. Storm was left behind with 24,000 chips and he lost those a little while later holding king-four versus his opponent’s ten-nine. Storm’s opponent hit a pair and that was it for the former Unibet Open finalist.
