Sweet Start for Van de Riet

Dutch London based pro Tim van de Riet’s off to a sweet start, as he just won back-to-back pots. First it was Tomasz Kozub who raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Van de Riet put in 60,000 from the big blind. Van de Riet showed no emotion, but it was a suspiciously small three-bet and Kozub called.

The board brought out :::Ah:::Jd:::3s:::Kh:::4s on which the action was checked down, and Van de Riet bet 85,000 on the river. Kozub called and the Dutchman showed :::As:::2s to take down the pot.

On the very next hand it was chip leader John Yadgar who raised to 48,000 from the cutoff and Van de Riet three-bet to 134,000 from the small blind. Yadgar tanked for a bit before four-betting to 248,000 and the action was back on Van de Riet.

After about 10 seconds Van de Riet moved all in, for right around 900,000, and Yadgar folded right away.

Yadgar dropped down to around 1,085,000 while Van de Riet now has the chip lead with 1,200,000.
