With four stops across Europe in the season, Unibet Open makes its return to the Mediterranean island of Malta. It will be a week filled with many types of tournaments and a range of buy-ins but our focus will be on the €1,100 Main Event. In conjunction with Casino Malta, the event will be held in the luxurious InterContinental Hotel.
Earlier this season, Martin Soukup from the Czech Republic took down the Main Event in Sinaia, Romania for €71,000. Also, Daniel James captured the Main Event in his home country of London, England for £80,200 in a record-breaking field. There will be one more stop in Paris, France from November 28 – December 1.
Last year at the Unibet Open Malta, Daniel Jacobsen from Denmark took home the title in a field of 273 entries. Jacobsen earned €60,090 for his win with the prizepool sitting at €273,000. Jacobsen will likely be back this year to defend his title along with many of the Unibet Ambassadors and streamers.
