Latimer put it down to a lot of the late registrants ending up on that table – initially, the late reg’s were put in the 10 seats, but when they ran out of 10 seats then they all ended up on the same table. And anyone confident enough to turn up late to the tournament is probably a pretty tough player. “I was only five minutes late,” he complained, sadly. “I’ll never be late again.”
Latimer is still in, albeit beginning to head towards an uncomfortable place on 40k. On the plus side, if he can survive another level or two, his table is third in line to break…
