Unibet Belgian Poker Championship Main Event Day 1’s Conclude Today

Day 1b of the Unibet Belgian Poker Championship Main Event begins at 1 pm with players getting their second opportunity to build a stack in a bid for the title.

Yesterday at Casino Blankenberge, 99 entries were achieved in Day 1a, with 37 players bagging chips.

Players including Unibet ambassador David Vanderheyden and defending champion Christophe De Meulder are likely to return to action today after the cards were unable to fall in their favor yesterday.

The €550 buy-in will see players receive a 50,000 starting chip stack, with the first 45-minute level playing out with blinds at 100-100-100 big blind ante. Late registration will be open until the start of level 8 (approx. 8 pm) with the first day’s action set to conclude at the end of level 12 (approx. Midnight). Players will be allowed two reentries in total throughout the Main Event Day 1s.

Day 1c Turbo (21:00), features 20-minute blind levels, and the remaining players from all three starting flights will combine and return to battle for Day 2 on Saturday, August 31, with a winner crowned on Sunday, September 1.

The Unibet Poker Belgian Championship 2019 will also feature the popular €80 #QUEENRULES (Ladies Event) at 2 pm on Saturday, August 31, a two-day €220 NLH Deepstack (Freezeout), €110 NLH Turbo, and€110 Progressive Super Knockout. Check out the full schedule here.
