Van Boxstael Wins Against Lappin

Steve Van Boxstael raised to 9,000 from under the gun and the only caller was Unibet Poker Ambassador, David Lappin in the big blind.

The flop came 8♠K♦J♣ on which they both checked through to the Q♥ on the turn. Lappin check-called the 12,000 bet of Van Boxstael.

The river completed the board with the J♦ to pair up. Lappin checked again. Van Boxstael bet 25,000 and Lappin threw in a chip for the call. Van Boxstael tabled Q♣J♥ for the rivered full house and Lappin quickly showed he had T♦9♣ for the turned straight. Van Boxstael took down the pot to take him up to around 120,000. Lappin would be left with about the same.
