Vor Better, Vor Worse
Daniel Vorbeck has had an up-and-down sort of day, and just now he’s on the up – although at 20,000 after the double up, he’s still not doing terribly well in the grand scheme of things.
The hand itself was a simple coinflip, Vorbeck’s :::5d :::5s holding against Ludwig de Saint Etienne’s :::Ad :::9s on a :::4s :::8c :::Jc :::3h :::6c board. Nevertheless Vorbeck could not have looked happier as he doubled back up to his starting stack. De Saint Etienne pulled a sour face as he dropped to 35,000.
In the absence of a photo of either player involved in the hand, please enjoy the completely gratuitous photo of a very lovely dealer that I have attached to this post instead.
