We are in the beautiful and secluded resort of Tróia with barely a beach and a world-class golf course to distract us from the serious business of playing poker. Your bloggers are gazing at a sea of empty poker tables right now and chilling to the smooth jazz sliding out of the conference centre speaker system; within the hour, though, there will be an absolute minimum of 100 poker players raising, reraising, checking and folding their way to what they hope will be victory.
