We’re in the Money
Laurens De Smet opened to 8,000 in early position and to his immediate left Giovani Gouveia announced that he was all in. The entire table folded back around to De Smet who nodded a call, and a bad beat later, Gouveia was gone.
De Smet: :::As :::Qd
Gouveia: :::Qh :::Qc
Board: :::8h :::4c :::Ah :::8s :::7s
The TD ordered the dealers to wait, intending to go hand for hand – but in the event they never got there. ON the very same hand, Ruggiero Scommegna had gone all in with pocket nines and found himself up against Dylan Gessel’s pocket aces. The board brought no miracles, and Scommegna took unlucky 37th place.
Everyone else is now in the money. Hurrah!
